Title: No Guilt Refried Beans

1 pt Pinto beans; rinsed
1/4 c Thick chunky salsa
2 tb Finely chopped onion
1/8 ts Garlic powder
1 tb Butter
Combine beans, salsa, onion and garlic powder in a
2-quart saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil over
medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer 8-10 minutes or
until onion is translucnt, stirring occasionally.
Add butter, stir until melted.
In a food processor or blender, process mixture
until smooth. Serve as a taco ingredient or chip
and vegetable ingredient.
