MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
      Title: Winter Fruit Compote
      Yield: 6 Servings
  1 1/2 c  Apricot nectar
      1 c  Dried apricots
    1/2 c  Dried pears
    1/2 c  Golden raisins
    1/4 c  Pitted prunes
    3/4 c  Apricot brandy
      3    Thin slices lemon
      2    Thin slices fresh ginger
      2    Granny Smith apples; halved
           .. cored & sliced UNpeeled
      2    Pears, halved; cored and
           .. thickly sliced UNpeeled
  Mix nectar, apricots, dried pears, raisins and
  prunes. Bring to a boil; stir in brandy, lemon and
  ginger. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
  Add apple and pear slices. Simmer another 5
  minutes, or until apples and pears are tender, but
  still hold their shape. Remove lemon and ginger
  slices. Serve warm.
