Title: Slow Cooked Beef Stew

1 lb New red potatoes; cut into
.. eighths
4 md Carrots; sliced (2 cups)
1 Onion; halved thinly sliced
3/4 lb Round steak; in 3/4" cubes
1 c Beef broth
3 tb Tomato paste
2 ts Paprika
1/4 ts Caraway seed
1 Clove garlic; minced
2 tb Water
2 tb Cornstarch
1. Layer potatoes, carrots and beef in crock pot.
Mix beef broth, tomato paste, paprika and caraway
seeds and garlic; pour over vegetables. Cover;
cook on low until vegetables are tender, about 8
hours.
2. Remove meat and vegetables; keep warm. Mix
cornstarch and water; stir into crock pot. Cover;
cook until thickened, 5 to 10 minutes. Serve over
vegetables & broth.
