MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
      Title: Irish Stew
      Yield: 1 Servings
      2 lb Stewing mutton
  1 1/2 pt Water
      6 sm Onions; sliced
      1 sm Carrot; sliced
      8 md Potatoes
           Salt and pepper
  Have meat in bite size pieces, trimming off some
  of the fat. Put into a large kettle containing
  nearly boiling water. Add onions and carrot.
  Simmer very gently, as hard boiling water will
  toughen the meat. After 1 hour, add potatoes.
  Season to taste and cook till potatoes are tender.
  Then serve all together on one dish.
