MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
      Title: Almond Macaroons
      Yield: 2 Dozen
      1 c  Sugar
      8 oz Almond paste*
      2    Egg whites
  *See Homemade Almond Paste.
  1. Preheat oven to 325. Line cookie sheets with
  brown paper.
  2. Mix sugar and almond paste until well blended.
  Add just enough egg white to moisten; mix with
  wooden spoon.
  3. Roll mixture into 1" balls; flatten slightly.
  Place about 2" apart on cookie sheets. Bake 12
  minutes, or until very lightly browned. Slide
  paper onto a damp towel. Cool slightly before
  removing from cookie sheets so cookies don't
